WHEN PUSH COMES TO SHOVE
Friday Apr. 20, 2018
Self-examination is a curious term; first thought is medical – check yourself out. If something is suspicious consult your doctor.
When self-examination of behavior is concerned, we go it alone. Very alone. Might consult a friend, colleague, partner, family member – but mostly, we do this alone. Why?
I mull my most difficult stuff alone. Not without help – I read, research, listen to ‘talks’, I cleverly solicit thoughts/ideas from clever friends without revealing I’m asking for me, about my issue (surely, they never guess??), asking what they think in an abstract way …
In business, when push comes to shove, it’s almost always about the money. In relationships, when push comes to shove, it’s almost always about the honey – or absence of it. In life, when push comes to shove, it’s almost always about self-worth, self-esteem and self-viewing.
