I’ve had those days, sometimes a series of days, when I couldn’t bring my thoughts together to meet my objective. Not writers’ block. More a matter of self-doubt about relevance – asking is it important, does it have value, will anyone understand my meaning?
Or does it matter only to me that I reach a point of understanding?
But hey, life isn’t broken, so why do I need to fix it?
Do you ever think there are too may ‘do it yourself’ (DIY) things out there – just not enough DIFM (do it for me in others?
Need to separate ‘what must be done’ from ‘what could be done differently’.
Something new. Original. Authentic.
Sure we can. Well, if your ‘what you have to say’ isn’t new, original, authentic, you might reach very many. But, become ‘a little weird, unconventional, transparent – AND new, original and authentic, the audiences who need/want to hear your viewpoint will grow.
Doesn’t matter when you wrote it, it’s that you are continuing to write and that you are willing to send them out daily to your readers. Great food for thought though. It could apply to all areas of life. Keep up the great work Mark, MJ, Calgary, AB
