NAVIGATION IS NOT TRICKY

It doesn’t matter if we navigate a bicycle, motorcycle, car, or enormous truck – turning corners is easy.
We slow down, decelerating and braking, we look both ways, we signal, we avoid running into parked cars, fire hydrants and pedestrians, and then we accelerate. Is this true in life, in work, or play?
Is the knee-jerk reaction one of turning a corner or a self-destructive act?
Is encountering a roadblock, or being one, a way of turning any corner?
Direction and velocity matter – as do thrust and lift if anything gets airborne. And getting something off the ground is only one part of the battle because keeping something aloft – or keeping something going is a complicated task.
I was reminded recently by Robert H. Schuller’s quote: What would you attempt if you knew you could not fail?
