Comfort level – that ‘are we comfortable yet?’ feeling – is widespread, and as I’ve been seeing in people around me and my work, it is clear.
You either are or you aren’t, but it’s not a black/white issue, but a matter of degree. My sense, nothing scientific but from what I see, is that those who are older and have been (or still are) more isolated, their comfort level is easing back slowly, whereas younger folks seem to be ‘past it all’ and are almost cavalier now. They’ve usually got a mask available in their pocket or car but rarely wear them.
The truth is, we aren’t past it all yet.
And we won’t be for a long time – so when I hear that another booster might be available soon, I’ll happily get in line for mine!
