GETTING MORE
Monday Aug. 21, 2017
What are you wishing for?
We wish for things, for experiences, for feelings, for understanding.
We wish for companionship, friendship, sense of belonging and safety.
We wish for every need Maslow identified, we wish for what every newborn wants – to be safe from falling, to be warm, to be fed, and to have our diaper changed.
Be careful what you wish for …
Money, I need more. Education, I need more. Opportunity, I need more. Do we really more of all these things? I could use them, but I can live without them as top priorities. I’d rather create more value, do more learning and generate opportunities.
And, there is the often overlooked need for and value of sleep.
I need more.
Want more.
Lately, getting more.
Sleep, wondrous sleep, how lovely.
My elusive delicious mistress.
