POLICY v. PRACTICE
Sunday Aug. 6, 2017
Is having a plan and strategy good policy?
For corporations, organizations and governments – we likely sing an ‘absolutely’ chorus. For ourselves, as individuals and families, do we have a plan, or do we just ‘plan to plan’?
Strategy. Fulfill plan. Reach objectives. Simple enough – our extrapolated ‘to do list’ for life. Most of us get up, go through life – repeat daily.
It isn’t that we don’t get results or fulfill our predictions because we often do, but is that on purpose, or on accident?
If our plan is to live till tomorrow, then drink eight glasses of water, eat three meals and get a good sleep – and we’ll see you tomorrow.
But what about that, what do we want, what are we prepared for and planning to do to achieve it – and you, how about you?
