GLIMPSE GANDER GLANCE ADVANCE
Monday Aug. 10, 2015
Fresh-start, start-over.
New day conspiring to deliver directly to you – two choices.
Or thousands.
Among disasters, triumphs, new adventures, dangerous worm holes – many harmless and worthless time wasting diversions equivalent to playing computer solitaire, when you experience momentary euphoria winning, then realize you’ve won nothing, you’ve advanced nothing.
What should you look for – images, sounds, feelings?
In a blink, you cannot possibly see them all.
If you aren’t looking, you won’t see any.
Did you glimpse that one, or miss completely?
Maybe you’ll notice some next one.
Or one after that.
So, here we are a new day chance to advance something.
Please, advance something …
Anything!
Advance something huge – some whopping ponderous colossal fantastic life altering choice.
“Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death. It doesn’t matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle – when the sun comes up, you’d better be running.” – source unknown
Choices day, waiting for us to wake up and start running, to choose something worth chasing, worthy of the chase, worthy of its reward. Choose well. Choose wisely. Choose quickly before opportunity slips out of hand like soap bars do …
Something far less thrilling – whatever it is, could be or becomes distracting and takes us off course, off track, off your mission.
Up to only one person.
Nobody else has any appropriate role or voice – they never have, never should …
Sun is up …
Are you running?

morning walk: 12C/53F, mainly clear, Gusta happy to be home in familiar sniffing territory – she caught up on who has been anywhere she goes – and we both enjoyed a long stroll and a steady cool breeze
