TIME MANAGEMENT
Thursday Aug. 18, 2016
I have too little time.
I have too much time.
It seems each of these is true at some point in each day – and being on a vacation doesn’t seem to change that …
Yesterday in Washington – registered at Toastmasters convention, attended luncheon, toured Newseum, meeting with Alberta’s trade representative in Washington at Canadian Embassy. Full day culminating in massive thunderstorm that arrived as I was attempting to gas up last night. No power, so even if I’d stood in that horizontal rain it was ‘come back in the morning’ …
I love conventions. I hate conventions. I love seeing old friends and making new ones – but being at something that starts at 8AM, well … that’s just too early, but a friend and fellow Calgarian is competing, and I have just have to be there.

morning walk: 23C/74F, more humid than I would like – news reports of power outages from the storm – but lights were on at the yoga studio where early risers were readying for their class, urban rabbits were out in numbers and I’m feeling like my body-clock is finally adjusting to this time zone, lights were on at the gas station so I can get some before heading out this morning

FINDING GETTYSBURG ADDRESSES
Hey Mark, I like reading about your morning walk but watch out for those muffins! We have a guy in the office who buys them from Longos and they are 330 calories each! We had to start hiding them from him as he was practically living on them, GH, Toronto, ON.
