TAUGHTNESS
Friday, August 20, 2021
The self-taught life is – well, taught, fraught and ought to not be so tricky.
Not to imply those who had ‘how to live your life’ rammed down gullets had any easier a life.
Because teaching is pointless without learning coming out the other end – there is no point in being taught a lesson if we don’t live differently because of what we learned.
There is no point in having a great idea if we don’t act upon it. There is no point having a beautiful thought if we don’t express it. There is no point creating something nobody will see. That spins away under the scope of ‘woulda, coulda, shouda.’
There is no point holding back or holding off or holding on – just no point at all because every moment passed by is a moment lost.
Reader feedback:
Have I ever wondered? Yes….a very “profound” question isn’t it? Just like timing e.g. just missing a plane and it crashes or leaving a few minutes before/after there is a serious car accident on your route to work. Yes….I often wonder….Cheers, TL, Calgary, AB
