BLOCKED DOES NOT MEAN STOPPED
Tuesday Aug. 30, 2016
Any path we take could be blocked.
There is always another route.
Someone might offer new information, raise objections, point out weaknesses or threats. Storms, accidents, construction, floods, earth quakes – can take out our road or vital bridge in an instant. Someone might say STOP, or ‘have you thought about _______?’
Frustrating, difficult …
Yes.
Is it worth it?
That’s a different question about values and motivation – because when those are present, nothing can stop something of purpose and worthy intent. No roadblock, storm or change of circumstances can stop it.
Everybody has a full plate – every 24 hours, mix of idleness and activity, waking and sleep, problems and bliss always add up to this: we are the same, we are equal.
We are everything, we are nothing. Flesh, and bone. Food and water.
And we are what we accomplish, we are self-measured and self-worth-ed by what we do, not by what we didn’t do, valuable for impossible things we did – not for saying they were impossible. Anyone can put a roadblock in our path at any time. Whether or not we think a road is required or whether blockages need be obstacles is a measure of us, not an assessment of the obstacle.

morning walk with Gusta: 12C/53F, light breeze, clear sky, Gusta has a good ‘two poops’ walk – and I enjoyed the peaceful quiet before sunrise, before chirping birds, before humming traffic … just another fantastic day
