SPREADING HORIZONTAL CHANGE
Wednesday Dec. 17, 2014
Not tired. Not now. I crashed early last night … before 9PM. I woke up at 2:00AM, couldn’t get back to sleep, and I felt cured. Up at 3:00AM.
Today, I’ve done a lot already. Walked Gusta, papers, the gym, more papers, steak and eggs, write my column. I’m not tired. Not weary. Sleep cures everything.
There is no peace, no quiet, no state of relaxation that equates to walking around in the middle of the night. There is no meeting to run off to, no rush to anything. I can actually read things, take time to write something carefully …
What a fantastic way to start this day.
I read a bit. I got Seth Godin’s new book ‘What to do when it’s your turn’ – as a ‘pre-orderer’ I got a bonus (a 2nd free copy to give away) so I wrote a note to send with that. I’ll mail it today.
And, if you have a minute, check out that link and hear Set talk about the book.
Really, truly, I’m not tired. OK, yesterday was full, busy and involved some serious mall time to buy gifts (and a few for me) as I set a record for being done so early. Unbelievable.
And, did I mention I’m not tired?

morning walk: -9C/14F, calm and clear, really quiet as we walked very early under stars and a crescent moon in early hours; Gusta likes the frosty grass to roll in and I like the better footing!
