MY TOASTMASTERS LIFE

. . . . . . there is no edge to openness

HAVE A THOUGHT FULL DAY

Monday Dec. 25, 2017

Sitting still to moving.

Shifting position – from idle to first gear.

These are understood easily – it’s physics. Overcoming inertia.

Shifting thinking – modifying beliefs, reassessing our goals, looking at ourselves in the mirror – what are we trying to overcome then?

I don’t think inertia and the laws of physics apply – this is far more difficult.

And what are we shifting?

Altering our opinion, or just shaving angles of old viewpoints?

Are we turning asunder fundamental principles of our lives or just tipping over furniture to see what happens?

Finding calm within chaos is good if it can be found. But if it can’t, creating chaos is not a likely solution – or is it?

When there is confluence of issues, problems, unexpected changes, intervening circumstances there emerges that which we least expect.

Clarity.

Of purpose.

Of resolve …

p.s. Merry Christmas to all …
