SOMETHING
Friday Dec. 2, 2016
Another day’s journey – focus derails momentarily, or all day – stop. Look. Listen. Feel. Now carry on if you can. If you can’t, let yourself feel this moment, let this day drain away …
‘Something du jour’ through different lenses. Five-year old’s eyes, senior’s demise, 30,000 foot view, magnifying glass view – as important/valid as your examination – devoid of your own emotion, but seen up-close, from far away, from problem to opportunity, from amusement to confusion, from sadness to joy. Through different eyes.
Something will dominate your landscape today, something different for everyone: something in the news, a diagnosis, something we forgot, someone we forgot, some surprise, some disappointment ~ there is always something to provoke/evoke emotion, action, reaction.
But before you tear-up or tear-off on your next rant or tangent, hit this pause-button for just a moment.

YIKES I’M LATE
Hi Mark, just read today’s musings and clicked to read I NEED HELP … then clicked on your poetry heading and now want to say; “I think your site is very well developed and easy to enjoy. I love poetry so if time opens to moments on the computer I can resource myself with ‘Your year of poetry’. Aren’t you just a ‘smarty pants!’ Your season poem was exceptionally good and I like this one too [DEAL BRAKER – March 16, 2011]. It just reaches places in the heart. That is as far as I got for today. SF, Lethbridge, AB … PS: Today’s thought was also right on!
