This isn’t the end, but I can see it from here …

What am I talking about?

The end of a drought?

The end of life?

Or the end of prepping for a project, seeing it go from brain-cell-sized idea to a full-blown completed project that lasts long after I’m gone?

Or just this week?

How about this answer:  All of the above!

Figuring out where we are going, how we will get there from here, and what happens next can be a complex process of figuring out every detail, all those variables or by simply starting the engine to see where the road leads us.

Speaking of car trips, we are off to Edmonton and then Fort Saskatchewan today ...

I enjoyed reading this. You had me at “blithely”.  I thought one of us had misremembered the original and, frankly, I was sure it was you. Doubt crept in—I sometimes get led astray by your tricky word play—until I reached the end and realized I was definitely wrong and you are still boldly playing, HM, Calgary, AB
