WORK ETHIC BEGINS AT HOME
Monday, Dec. 23, 2019
Motivation and inspiration float through air – like microwaves, can’t see or hear them unless we are tuned-in and have our volume adjusted. As the work year nears its end, some thoughts to share:
“Without ambition one starts nothing. Without work, one finishes nothing. The prize will not be sent to you. You have to win it.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
“Your purpose in life is to find your purpose and give your whole heart and soul to it.” – Buddha
“There is no time for cut-and-dried monotony. There is time for work. And time for love. That leaves no other time.” ― Coco Chanel
“The caterpillar does all the work, but the butterfly gets all the publicity.” ― George Carlin
“A man is not idle because he is absorbed in thought. There is visible labor and there is invisible labor.” ― Victor Hugo
“Don't mistake activity with achievement.” ― John Wooden
“The artist is nothing without the gift, but the gift is nothing without work.” ― Émile Zola
“If you want something new, you have to stop doing something old.” ― Peter Drucker
