THANKFUL-DAY

Pause day, play day, feast day, Santa Claus day – for children to play with new toys, for long conversations and meals which take all day to prepare and 15 minutes to devour. Peace and family day.
Christmas past, present and future – memories meet hopes, tomorrow’s promise unlimited, can you imagine a world without this day?
Surrounded by family, food and love – insulated from all the ills of the world. And in so doing, we are isolated from all those who are not surrounded by comfort and joy, from those who have little or nothing, from those who are alone … and we should all recognize how very lucky we are. Whether we are safe and warm or just getting by, we have so much to be thankful for.
