THANKS FOR GIVING
Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2019
Today is just another Wednesday.
Not for everyone.
Filled with joy, celebration. Filled with toys and batteries and assembly instructions.
Filled with lonely, sadness, and sorry.
Filled with riches and poverty – often side-by-each – sickness/health, young, and old, everywhere except for nowhere. Nowhere is there any escaping reality.
Today, yes, just another Wednesday.
Just another Christmas Day.
For many, a day they’ll never forget
For many, a day they’ll never remember.
Of all the days on the calendar, this is one worth calling thanksgiving – because wherever we are, whatever we have, whoever we are with – we are all better off than someone else. Appreciation of that is something we should never overlook.

Very nice musings Mark, thanks very much. Merry Christmas. TA, Calgary, AB
Merry Christmas Mark & all the best in 2020. As for us we are sick with something, flu or cold, the jury is still out. Our Christmas celebration with my sister & bro-in-law is cancelled & we hope to be able to have our dinner sometime in the early new year. Travel safe & have a wonderful time with your family. MC, Bottrel, AB
