Life is uncertain, period.
People are unpredictable, period.
We can influence lives and influence people – not through persuasion but persuasive actions.
Getting someone a coffee, preparing it how they like it, and delivering it to them shows them that you care, causing them to pause and think kindly of you. How much effort did that take? It’s not manipulative, and it’s clever. It’s neither complex nor expensive. It’s priceless.
Think of someone you want to move the dial with – making an impression, fixing a problem, apologizing for an error, or bringing them joy for no other reason than they are deserving, and you can make a difference in their day.
Go ahead.
Plan a picnic.
Surprise someone.
It doesn’t have to be a picnic, but why not?
Since when does weather or season determine our feelings?
