YAY TO THE MISTAKE

Admitting a mistake is not a mistake, it’s a progressive step.
Failing to admit a mistake ~ well, that’s a mistake for sure ….
Every mistake we experience, examine, and own is a stepping stone to success; admitting our errors is like a scientist experimenting in a lab — with each try that doesn’t work, one step closer to one that works.
Mistake-making (and admitting/celebrating them) is at the root of everything good, which mankind has ever made, or will, because it is so essential to progress. YAY to the mistake, every time!
Mistakes should not be rare; like failure in any form, the more, the better. More mistakes means more effort, more effort means more success. Mistakes are the axle lubricant on which the wheels of everything turn …
Denying mistakes, or letting them go by unnoticed is – for most of us – a phase of our youth we move on from. Sadly some people never learn, and they go on repeating the same-old, same-old in the same-old way. I see that in others.
Sometimes I see that trait in myself, and I don’t like what I see.
But I have to see it.
