While I’m far from/will never be retired, it was a ‘should I take a retirement day today moment’ – thoughts I have more often than I used to …
Reality/logic set in eventually, projects I’m working on, tasks for clients and tasks for myself (once upon a time I considered a career in accounting – so glad I didn’t) boxes of papers called ‘accounting and taxes’ loom in their pile, poised to steal my leisure time for the next few weeks. All that thinking wore me out – and it was only 9:30AM.
