Finding time for things …
Pause, reflect, sleep, wake, work.
Pause, reflect, sleep, wake, work.
Pause, reflect, sleep, wake, work.
Pause, reflect, sleep, wake, work.
Pause, reflect, sleep, wake, work.
Pause, reflect, sleep, wake, work.
Pause, reflect, sleep, wake, work.
Pause, reflect, sleep, wake, work.
Some cycles get broken.
Some need to be broken.
Sometimes I need to reflect – just how steeped in routine and habit I am. I’ve been concerned about this lately, began documenting (in short – my time and motion study) my daily habits and sequence of them. And, as I try to re-jig, remove and renovate that list – trying to insert some things, to add some ‘new habits’ I want to institute.
I think there will be more pausing, more reflecting and more sleep, more writing, smarter working, and more refreshed ‘awakenings’ …

SOLITARY CONFINEMENT
And thus the number one health concern for North American adults has become.... loneliness. May we all find companions, all of us lonely ones. Keep on keeping on, Mark. Hope this day brings smiles, JB, Edmonton, AB
Hi Mark, You need to go to Maui more often. We are leaving after 2 weeks of finding peace. Waves, warm moist air and beaches are your friends. Book now. S#3, SA, Edmonton, AB … from Maui
Morning Mark, I passed along your MUSINGS to a teacher friend and she is going to use your insights for discussion with her teenage nephew. Letting teens know that we don't solve our problems by keeping others away but that it is more useful to do it 'in person' as opposed to texting out our lives and hoping that makes us feel better. Wish more parents thought about how to build resilience in their kids. Thanks again for a column that is 'good for all ages', JR, Calgary, AB
