Now rosier hues overtake gloom. Pondering, is this ‘first week of reprieve’ or lull before next storm – wonder if we’ve learned much, or anything, from this?
Meanwhile, obfuscating governments vacillate over what does or doesn’t a promise mean. Or what truth is. If you don’t get enough laughs here, look south – it gets sillier every day. Scarier too. Life goes on. Society continues to manage itself, or be mis-managed, by those elected. There’s a question at the root of modern life we too easily ignore.
