SLEEP, OR TAKE A NAP

Monday, Feb. 24, 2020

Sleep cures nothing, but often solves the most complex confusion in our head – untangling strands of complexity we get knotted together when we are awake. Sometimes washing my car by hand provides a similar mental-health break, but afterward, I need a nap – so sleep comes to my rescue.

Difficult things remain complicated, hurdles loom just as high, and that desert island hideaway is just as remote – but complexity and schmutz are gone, the fog got lifted, and we wake up to a new approach.

We all find this with simple things and pay it little heed, but it works for significant issues too.

And, I believe, we sleep deeper and better when we trust our troubles to our slaving away non-conscious mind that works for us 24/7.

A power nap after work, during work, or before work – these can add up to real sleep.

The power napping processes of famous geniuses makes an interesting read.

Reader feedback:
BATTLING ADVERSARIES and DEMONS
Another Great read. Thanks Mark for continually reminding us. Sometimes we all can get lost in the shuffle, and it's your posts that bring us back to where we need to be, MJ, Calgary, AB

MEANS, MOTIVE, and OPPORTUNITY
Thought provoking. Being an Introvert in an extrovert world has surely had its downfalls. More downs, then ups. However, striving upwards, staying positive along the climb of this huge mountain I face is what keeps me going. To read this post today, was a blessing. I have a lot of work to do. Thanks for the motivation Mark, MJ, Calgary, AB
