DON’T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT A PLAN

Ready?
Begin.
What are we doing when we aren’t creating something, changing something or discarding something?
Sideline sitting, ‘planning by staring out a window,’ ignoring opportunities, or wasting time delays your start?
And, just as breakfast is the most important meal of the day, Monday is the most important day of the week, so be the early bird; start your process (extra credit if you did this from a home that is substantially distant from work and even more credit if you prepared on Sunday.)
Planning Monday and planning out the whole week could have started last week or on the weekend, but NEVER EVER on Monday morning.
This shouldn’t/needn’t be over of week, month, and ahead, but don’t wait to start this critical task when you arrive at work; be the Boy Scout. Be Prepared.
The frail elderly and small children deserve to skip these challenges, but the rest of us seem to have no choice as we face this start – first thing every week.
We either have some plan to implement or waste much of Monday organizing, getting the week’s business underway, but we won’t gain traction until Tuesday or Wednesday; that makes a rugged week to work through without anything defined and without a clear plan with steps with thoughtful checks and balances.
That is all.
The rest flows into and out of our days without time. Sometimes luck comes into play, but not as often as chance does. Serendipity often comes from seeds planted or plans laid out, so it may look like luck when it happens, but that isn’t how it began, and things never work out as we expect. But expect to plan for better the better you plan.
