DON’T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT

Monday Jan. 21, 2019

I rarely go out, drive anywhere or attend meetings without pad and pen.

But it’s always been for note taking – notes that go into a file, or tossed in trashcans.

Lately I’m also carrying a Moleskine with me nearly everywhere. I got tired of having a thought and losing it within minutes because something else invaded my brain – might be another incoming thought, a noise, door knock or jangling telephone …

Neither a diary or journal. Just notes of significance throughout my day. Not sure I’ll stick with this but it seems like a good idea write now!

I look back, flipping pages, memory jog and reviewing things I meant to do – re-examining my mood.

Interesting flipping exercise, looking in a different mirror for every day …

Pen, paper or journal, don’t leave home without it.
