Yes. Your life, your business, is fabulous already. Great. Fantastic. I hope it is – but why can’t we take anything, or everything, to higher levels?
And what is your business? Look at your business card – what does it say, how does it describe you? Whatever it says on that piece of card, you are CEO of you. You are CCO (chief creative officer) of your day, of your entire life. Not just on the job, or on the way to your job – but at your first jobs. Person. Friend. Neighbour. Child. Parent. Partner. In every job we can be in charge of fantastic ideas. Be careful. It’s contagious.
We all know fibbing, right? More of us ought to switch roles, switch our thinking – from being in the business we think we are in, steering ourselves to enter the fabulous idea business (FIB). Yes, be a FIBber. Imagine how exciting every day could be if we sprang from bed with a fabulous idea? Just the belief thinking about fabulous ideas is the best way to have fabulous ideas is a great start.
How hard is it to refocus our attitude – from going through another day of ordinary, routine or humdrum – to spending days of zeal. Yes, real zeal. Do something old, better. Do away with something old. Try a new idea. Try talking about a new idea, a fresh approach. Like driving a new route to work in the morning, we see different things. See familiar things from a different side. Try fibbing more …
There is only one limit on what we can do. That is who we choose to be.
