Possibility. Improbability. Between these book-ends, range of people and activities in our lives. If we reframe our view of each book on that shelf, not ‘part possibility’, ‘part impossible or improbable’, we can rank/sort them in importance. For instance, being well might be viewed as ‘poor prospects’ by someone or their doctor, but surely its importance ranks high. Conversely being ‘more involved’ in something seems less important by comparison – but then the ‘what we are involved in’ might turn out to be our most important earth-altering quest.
Possibility connects to hope. And to dreams. To energy. To smile-muscles. To our heart. To family. To friends – all intertwined, viewed through this possibility lens.
If you don’t see these truths in pure, simplistic and hopeful terms – time to get your lenses checked.
