What in life cannot be reduced to this?

Give. And take.

So which end of that equation are you on? When end of your every action is give, which is take?

Givers keep on giving. Givers don’t quit. Givers don’t have time to worry about what they aren’t getting.

Givers don’t have time for taking (you can only stand in one line-up at a time) but whatever they need seems to somehow arrive when they need it. Often sooner.

It seems to me after too many decades of being in the wrong line too much of the time that everything is simpler now. Better now. Happier now. Not in all things in some idyllic perfect way – just better.

What are you doing – giving or taking?

What in life cannot be reduced to this?

WAIST REMOVAL HELP WANTED
Good Morning Mark, I hope you've been well and that you're enjoying Stampede week. Here's what worked for me: A 10 day juice-only diet which kickstarted my cleaner eating lifestyle change (not a "diet"). Afterwards, I control what meals I can. The easiest are weekday breakfasts and lunches. I bought a Vitamix and have smoothies for these meals, which end up being about 60% of my weekly meals (I do get out for the odd client lunch from time to time). Try starting with weekday breakfasts and move to lunch as well once you're comfortable. Juice to kickstart; smoothie to sustain. And I still get to enjoy a ribeye or brisket on the weekends because hey, I love to cook and my generation loves to post the photos on social media (nerds). Netflix has a couple of documentaries that changed my life: Fat Sick and Nearly Dead 1 and 2 were pivotal; highly recommend. And to a lesser extent, Forks Over Knives and What The Health, though both of these are clearly biased but still contain thought provoking information. Good luck. Contact me if you have questions, RA, Calgary, AB

Middle muddle - You did so well with the weight loss Mark this new challenge should be easy. As boring as it might sound "walking" is a real solution. Literally making a decision to try and walk five blocks a day will have huge impact on your middle! I think I have walked Stampede Park thirty times in the last few days, it's been hot, but I feel great, GB, Calgary, AB

Check out exogenous ketones. Cutting sugar and wheat has been an amazing change in how I feel and for fat loss, HG, Calgary, AB
