SQUEEZE IN SOMEONE ELSE
Friday July 20, 2018
Sure.
We can ignore most people.
But why?
Are we so heavily laden with friends, family and members of ‘our circle’ that we don’t have room for more real people in our lives – as opposed to those superficial ones already with us?
How much time do we have?
We don’t have all the time in the world, we just have the remainder of our time in our world.
How much do you need?
How much do you have?
I recently connected with someone ‘out of the blue’, one of those unlikely connections with one of our 7.5 billion fellow earthlings. Real. Two-way. Interesting. Unlikely. Some zing, some intrigue, some fairy-dust … but mostly just a ‘solid connection’. The dialogue has begun.
Isn’t that what we want every time the phone rings, or every time we bump into someone at a function or seminar – not the superficial polite chatter of cocktail parties or break-out sessions where everyone is shuffling feet and guarding their words, only letting the superficial cross their lips?
