UNHAPPY IS EASY

Regaining lost ground is difficult – like a strong runner in a competitive race who can’t keep up, falling further behind. So very hard to catch up.
Or it’s too late?
Or we are too entrenched to change?
Or too stubborn to change?
We can stop and ask if we are running the right race.
I’ve many times talked with people – frustrated in their work/career, unhappy with their situation – at the same time reluctant or afraid to try something new/different – to leave their unhappiness behind in exchange for uncertainty in front of them.
Too often people choose certain unhappiness over an uncertainty which might involve happiness – which is not to guarantee that change will ensure happiness, but not changing will surely leave them unhappy.
Happy requires risk, while unhappy can be achieved with no effort all …
