IT ONLY TAKES A MINUTE
Tuesday July 28, 2015
It just takes a minute. Or less.
Read your list …
If your list is long, great.
If your list is short, lengthen it.
Strengthen it.
We can’t always remember everything, yet we can remind ourselves of anything we want.
The best thing I ever did was ______.
I am fantastic at ______, ______, ______.
I love it when ______, ______, ______.
My best accomplishments are ______, ______, ______.
I love: ______, ______, ______, ______, ______ (about people).
I love: ______, ______, ______, ______, ______ (names of people).
I love: ______, ______, ______, ______, ______ (places).
I love: ______, ______, ______, ______, ______ (experiences).
Go ahead, make your list, change it as often as you want. Hold it in your head, hold it in your hand too. Print it out.
Look at it.
Anytime you want.

morning walk: 12C/54F, chilly breeze, light clouds colourfully lit on the horizon as dawn prepared to break night’s calm with another lively day. Gusta romping without bird-chirp interference – but she triggered someone’s car alarm so the honking and lights flashing had some entertainment value for me …

BANG
We had visitors this weekend; 2 humans and 2 four-legged humans. Much fun had by all. Bella's first interaction with a big dog, female yellow lab, and she was beside herself. Drove to the beach yesterday and did a bit of fishing and crabbing. Being a Sunday there were lots of people. While we thoroughly enjoy company at our place excursion into social interaction with other humans reminds us how spoiled we are in our solitude. Company gone and back to the normal bliss of forested silence. GW, Bon Wier, Tx.
Thank you so much for your mail; I enjoy your column from time to time; work schedule keeps me crazy busy. I've been back working at Cancun airport after an 18 month visit in Victoria, Canada. Life has always find amazing ways to surprise me and as much as I enjoy my stay in your country the time away from mine made me appreciated even more what we Mexicans are and what we have. Yours is a wonderful country with extraordinary people and lots of opportunities, however you are struggling as much as we are here with government ridiculous regulations, high prices and the globalization regressing on the values of the youth, etc... But we are much more colorful, louder full of motion and passion . Our families are strong and difficult at the same time; we lack the opportunities but made it up in creativity :) I love both countries and I wish we were closer (sorry Americans we are too dissimilar lol) Happily I believed I found love but no love is perfect or easy...story is been written it will be nice to tell you all about it:) I always have a special place in my heart and a constant wish for happiness for you. Saludos desde el hermoso Cancun, AG
