Throw a penny in the water – make a wish first, and you’ve made a wish in a wishing well.
Or, bid someone farewell, or say hello to them for the first time in a long while, and you’ll wish them well. Neither of these activities creates wellness nor does much about well-being.
We cannot manifest a wish without effort, and we shouldn’t second guess good things when they come along …
Yet when good things arrive or arrive in bunches, it’s easy to second guess or we feel a need to deeply understand why.
Sometimes it’s best to simply open the door, and welcome a visitor …
This is a good reminder that we should make the most of each day. My favorite expression is Carpe Diem - "Seize the day". It's hard to do during a pandemic, but no sense wasting our days.
