The more we give, the more people are open to working with us.
The more we do, the more people are willing to open their minds to our ideas.
The more we care, the better job we do.
These three elements are present (or not) in every relationship we have with anyone. And for every relationship – work, business, personal – that isn’t working, one or more of these elements is absent or not working as it could.
And for every relationship that is working well, all three of these elements are at work – all the time. End of story, full stop, these are certainties.
Nuances and contradictions, misjudgments and miscalculations are inevitable. These three elements get us over chasms, through swamps, bring us out on the other side in sunshine …
