My nearly-full-polished column DEFINITION must await until tomorrow, pre-empted by newswire item. No debate, no doubt, must post this instead:
To non-hockey fans, non-Canadians – might just be another news bit, about another 88-yr. old man died of Alzheimer’s Disease. Maybe they wouldn’t notice at all, or care. Icon, long before that word was used much. Idol. Grace. Kindness. Pride of Floral, Saskatchewan, pride of Canada. Gordie Howe died.

This was exactly what I needed today. Lately I've been discovering exactly where my weaknesses lie in my work, and I'm still fairly young and naive enough to be idealistic. Indeed, patterns start to form around the mistakes I make at work and I realize that I must keep going. Same goes for anyone. Shortcomings and mistakes add up if you let them, but facing them honestly and dealing with them yields much better results, anonymous from somewhere on earth
