MORNING MODE

Wednesday June 13, 2018

Mode 1: morning brings choices every time. We can leap from bed, leap into plans for our day, leap forward on every opportunity on our plate, grab every rainbow blowing by …

Mode 2: we can rise without plan, without purpose, with open mind, open agenda – we can wander around without time constraints, without requirement to do anything about anything.

Why is that? Is either more natural, right or wrong? We live so much in ‘mode middle’, most of us live our days – manage our life in safe territory between extremes. Actually, they aren’t that extreme but still, we choose safely balanced middle ground.

I wonder if we lack courage to trust ourselves for a week, or even for a day, in a structure of work and leisure that spends too much time in either mode.
