Something shows up, prompts us to act/react, voice/mute our thoughts – every life chapter, actions and decisions fluctuating, heartbeats and heartbreaks. Achieve something. It leads somewhere. Achieve something else, leads somewhere else.
Fail at something. It leads somewhere. Fail at something else, get led somewhere else.
Never saw that coming, never expected – plans colliding, the planned, the planning, the joys and perils of how we can help each other, how we can help ourselves.
Then, when you think your limits of understanding have been stretched to the proverbial limit – surprise again …
Leave someone a voice-message, call them, tell them how much they mean to you – you’ll both get and give a surprise. Takes a gesture, a smile, a helping hand, a quick note or a brief call – that’s all.
I'm so sorry, the void is never filled but it gets tolerable with the years, AG, Cancun, Mex
Just got back and read this. My heart ♡goes out to you on the loss of your beautiful fur-baby Gusta. May you find comfort in your memories together. So sorry for your loss Mark, MJ, Calgary, AB
Mark .. so sorry about Gusta .. we had our black lab for many years and then a stroke necessitated that final trip to vet. Sometimes we have to be cruel to be kind - but even now 10 years later still hear the clinking of his tags! You had a wonderful relationship with her and with your inimitable style of writing, we all felt we did as well. She’s content in puppy heaven, Mark, and has no pain, BR, Calgary, AB
