I want to thank people, apologize to people, and appreciate people who put up with me …
And to make good on promises I never kept.
Promises, commitments made or implied – one I made, and those someone thought I made.
It’s all the same, is it not?
Doing what we should have done, what we said we would. And, if we never planned to do it, we never should have promised it.
Speaking only for myself, however, I suspect I’m not alone in this failing.
