Half a year is done, gone, over, and in this time of COVID, what do we have to show for it?
Nothing like our usual mid-year expectations.
Tomorrow starts the second half. Or a new beginning?
Shut-downs, masking, closures and safe-distancing guidelines evaporate in Alberta tomorrow.
We have your fully vaccinated, your partially vaccinated, your delaying for more data folks, your anti-vaxxers, your pain (seriously?) avoiders, and your downright crazy people who think we’re being injected with evil microchip mind control devices …
While young people are most exuberant at one end of the spectrum, we have the hospitalized, the recovering, the long-haulers and those who have/had COVID on top of their other serious chronic illnesses.
Oh yes, we’re fine.
We’re normal, we’re politically incorrect and medically questionable.
Tune in ten years for the ‘correct answers.’
