RE-FRAMING RE-MEMBERING
Wednesday June 3, 2015
Are we who we want to be?
Or who we expect to be?
As good as we know we are – our worst demons keep silently reminding that our worst messages, worst deeds, worst memories and worst experiences must frame us, shape us. Like stick-lumber framing a house.
Re-designing isn’t simply changing lines on paper, but changing our life.
Changing mind-set requires carpentry.
To rebuild, reshape and remake our own image of what those worst-of-times mean – worst moments were just that – moments. Sign-posts for driving-by. Bye-bye.
Reminding of significant events – but surely we don’t need help remembering.
We need help remembering moments.
When sweetness rolled over us like morning fog-blankets, when joy erupted from belly laughs, when smiles connected eye twinkles with fleeting thoughts. When imagination ran away with us …
Or we ran away with it.

morning walk: 9C/48F, drizzly overcast, calm – and calming despite the traffic buzz, hum of tires on wet – it’s a soggy-dog morning and Gusta the wonder-sniffer could not be happier

I googled marksmusing and congratulate you on the freedom that pours from you. I'm sending the "Not all friends enlighten" quote to my best friend. It's encouraging to see how you express thoughts when some of us think profound things but find it not so easy to express them. Good work, L, Calgary, AB
I wanted to say how much I am enjoying reading your blogs. I am not so gifted but appreciate your writing style. Your words and ideas twinkling and dance on paper. It is hard to believe you haven't found the right woman to mesmerize! May she be right and right around the corner! Good luck to us both! Take care, T, Calgary, AB
