MY HEAD MUST BE TOO FULL

Wednesday June 7, 2017

What was started was gone. Have you ever done that – written something and it just disappeared?

I have a feature on my computer, some Microsoft magic I suppose – if my program crashes it saves/recovers those pages. But sometimes that’s not the case and what I had is just gone. Even though only few minutes have passed, my head has been somewhere else, a phone rang – my disconnection from what I wrote, which would had resumed upon my return to keyboard – lost forever.

Like listening to someone on radio or television – they say something clever or important. I think “I’ll write that down and use that …”.

Only works if I capture it ‘right then’ or it is lost …

Is that getting old, being forgetful, or do I just have too much stored in my head?
