I was thinking, mulling, ruminating – wandering around in my mind, wallowing in memories of every kind from old to recent, high to low, physical and emotional – the whole spectrum.
About so many things I could have done better, smarter, quicker and more profitably – each time I meet someone better, smarter, quicker and more profitable than me, I try to poach/learn/absorb as much as I can. Not to copy them, but to shift my thinking so I can be better, smarter, quicker and more profitable than I was yesterday, last month and last year.
I can’t go back, to be smarter at 30, or 40, or any other time along my life’s path – but I can start fresh when I step into that totally new world known as today. And when I work with its sidekick tomorrow.
