If a frog had wings, he wouldn’t bump himself in the rear so often …

If pigs flew.

If …

When …

We’ve heard these clichés, had reflections “if only I’d known that thing back then everything would be different now. If only …

We get only one rear-view mirror and we can’t turn it into a windshield just by wishing it so, or can we?

Can’t we look back on dumb miss-steps, use those lessons going forward?

I think we can. We have these ‘learning experiences’ from childhood onward. We learn from them, or we say we do. We don’t repeat those mistakes.

But when we don’t take those lessons and truly leverage them to move forward with fresh energy around those ideas – we miss a lot …

I’m trying to miss fewer of them.

Reader feedback:

PAIRING

Ah, but sometimes the most unexpected pairings can make a great match – in friendship, in business and especially in romance – because of that je ne sais quoi aspect that technology likely won’t ever be able to measure., DAB, Edmonton, AB

This is kind of like the book Blink, JS, Calgary, AB

Hey Mark! Hope u r well!!!! MOST INTERESTING series on the Gaia.com network about things you have mentioned in your musings!! The series is called Missing Links by a scientist/ spiritualist called Gregg Brayden. He investigates cyclic changes in weather through many thousand of years to mans history (we did not evolve from Neanderthals) and our most interesting DNA code. So many interesting episodes!! You do need to subscribe to get network, like Netflix, but email me privately and I will give you my password!!! Take care!! BK, Cremona, AB

WE CAN SEE IT FROM HERE

This was a pleasure to read, AS, Calgary, AB
