GETTING TURNED AROUND

The hurrier I go the behinder I get …
Or, “Ah, the clean slate – nothing to do, nothing to catch up on … behind on nothing”.
For some people that’s coming back from vacation, for others it’s called unemployed.
Or dead.
Getting ahead is so different from getting behind. Behind is a place from which it seems we can never get ahead. If we want to get ahead, it seems like starting something new is the secret. Yet, it seems that if we put a lot of energy into that new thing, does that not mean other things fall behind?
What’s the trick to this?
Getting ahead and catching up are both illusions. As long as we are alive we will have both in our lives; once we realize that, everything seems so much easier …
