Sense of urgency and sense of purpose can be the same thing – but for most of us I don’t think there is a direct correlation.
Most days in our work/life imbalancewe rush to meet expectations, deadlines and wishes of others – most of which likely have nothing to do with our sense of purpose, but rather the prod we got (sometimes motivation/stimulation) from the latest text, voice-message or email someone sent. We are more likely playing whac-a-mole with someone else’s to-do list than we are with our own.
Which is not to say they can’t overlap.
But seriously, what is a sense of purpose – and do you have one?
Do I have one?
I feel mine evolving.
Some of this involves things I’ve talked about and written about before, some ‘in the mull’ at the moment.
