CHANGED REFERENCE POINT

Friday Mar. 10, 2017

What kind of life is this?

Alternating between positive and negative, good and bad – everyone forms little judgments about others, and about themselves, as if those are the measuring tools; opposites, extremes and contradictions.

But how about a different reference point?  Before, and after. Past, and future. Now, and future. Each can be different, can trend better, or worse … or no change at all. Neither bad, better or great – just what is behind separated from what is in front. Windshield v. rear-view mirror.

Point, forward, ready set go …

Reader feedback:

HIS LAST

I can remember in the finest detail the births of my children and the deaths of my parents – the coming and the going.  I can remember easily your Dad – softest hands and heart. You were lucky to be his son. S #3, SA, Edmonton, AB
