STANDARDS
Monday, March 14, 2022

Standard time is back.

Adjusting to a one-hour change twice a year is easy to understand. Not as easy to do, but it seems to be mitigated by the sleeping-late tendency we have on weekends.

Standards are standards, except when we leave them behind.

Standard implies a norm, an acceptable level of quality or performance – so sub-standard means or implies something less than; a faulty product, a less than satisfactory service …

What, then, is better than the standard, above the norms of quality and superior performance?

What is that called, and how do we achieve that?
