FOR BETTER OR WORSE

Relentlessly flowing, questing freedom, all water wants to do is reach the sea …
We make our paths, carved into our life-landscape. Like those rivers carve rock – deeply longing, committed – IN THE DIRECTION WE FOCUS UPON.
What we focus on COULD drag us down, falling into deep despair, into painful self-destructiveness, making us into our worst selves, or worse …
What CAN be different?
We can focus on deliberate actions, commitment to results we know can absolutely change lives, change our own too.
There is still time.
Nothing stands in our way but our failures to focus. What we focus on expands.
Buoys us.
Oh boy, yes it does.
When we focus on the improbable impossible, the completely unlikely, the boldly unimaginable … that is magical, and we shine in our own gloriousness.
Making something from nothing, making resolutions into an evolution within us, what we focus on expands – has potential to blossom, to overwhelm, to light up this world. Time leaks through our hourglasses. Time has no brakes and offers few breaks unless we make them ourselves. These breaks are made, built, created and elevated by one thing only – focusing on them. They expand.
Whether we focus on something new or old, that’s a choice. Whether we focus on something positive or negative, that’s a choice. Whether we focus on attitude or direction – that’s a choice too.
What we focus on can grow like Jack’s bean stalk, we’re promoting our own stock, our own success in the world. As accomplishers of accomplishments, doers of deeds, without regard for negativity or failures – aware, awake, awash in euphoria and overwhelming joys that flow.
