WRABBIT TWACKS
Wednesday, March 17, 2021 - daily column #6699
Today is supposed to be the luckiest of days for the Irish, and I hear it’s good planning to carry a rabbit’s foot too. Everyone else has to make their own kind of luck.
Life is safe and secure unless you are a rabbit. Snow receding, drab grass – making them conspicuous targets for coyotes and hawks ….
Outside my window the other day – sure sign of spring, gathering of rabbits looking fat and white and happy, no doubt discussing new coat fashions and debating when to start showing their new shades of brown and grey.
What little part of life luck plays.
Now, chance, that’s another matter – taking a chance, making an opportunity, taking the other fork in the forking road. That’s joyous.
