We are scraps of wisdom, we are moments in time rolled in a ball like strings strung together, and the older we get, the tighter that ball gets – we aren’t wrapped like iceberg lettuce, we are like the core of golf ball, tightly wound around and around, hardened and strong all day and all night. We are scraps of memories, scraps and scrapes we got into, and how we got out of them again, we are up and down and all around. Life kicks us when we are down and lifts us when we least expect it because we need to prove ourselves worthy of avoiding the scrap heap of life. Thanks, thanks heaps. Life is mostly a spiral of downhill curves, kicks the ass, and declining opportunities – if we let it be so. Life is the beginning of all things, not the end of everything; life is possibility and dreams. No day is equal to this one. No day is less important than any other day.

A moment in time for sure Mark, a time when the free world must stop the advances of a mad man. Shades of World War Two, but surely we have learned something from history. At the very least, all trade with Russia must stop, all travel, all investment. Russia must be held to account and Putin treated as the Pariah he is.
