We record magical idea moments, memories, inspiration, or witty phrases we don’t want to lose – by having the required tools at hand.
‘Best ideas’ come to us when we are doing something else – they seem to last a few seconds, and ten minutes later, we can’t recall what that bright idea was. This is not about ageing or short-term memory loss, as much as it is about our attention span coupled with the need to have some recording device close by!
Recording device? Sure, but that’s not always available and requires technology. How about old-school? Try pen and paper. Or you could send a text to yourself, or by writing it in the snow with a stick …
